Who are the Pastors of
the church?
Chuck Gafford is the Senior Pastor of Praise Place Church. He has served in church ministry in
various capacities for many years.
Pastor Chuck and his wife Jody founded Praise Place
Church and are called
to serve by sharing the love of Christ to all people. Pastor Jody is the Children’s Pastor and
Worship Leader.
What other

Our church plans to start the development of a monthly
newsletter in the near future. A

When do church services occur?
Church Services: Sunday morning worship begins at 10:00 AM at 1017 N. Flood Ave. south of West Robinson and West Main on N. Flood Ave. Easy access is found on I-35 from outside
of Norman
to the church and on Highway 77.
Other
Meetings: Youth Night is held on Tuesday nights at
6:30 PM at the church except for some special events held in homes and
other locations. In addition Praise
Kids Praise Place also meets at 6:30 PM on Tuesday nights. A preliminary music class will be offered
at 6:00 PM for a half-hour taught by Jody Gafford or by Thomas Beard.
Weekly Bible Study/Prayer will be held on
Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM.
Children’s Church runs after praise and worship on each Sunday
morning at 10:00 AM. Adult Cell
Groups will be scheduled on different weeknights so watch for
announcements. Various other
activities will be planned and announced for all age groups.

What are some of the
other ministries offered by the church?

Music:
Our
church believes strongly in the importance of worshipping God through all
the arts including music, drama, dance, mime and theatre and in
encouraging people to use their spiritual gifts and talents. The Bible says that God inhabits the
“praises of His people.” We
desire to give glory to Jesus Christ in our singing, playing, and through
all of our creative artistic endeavors.

Praise Place
Ministries Academy
of Arts & Worship: Classes are starting
now as the ministry of the church has opened a new Praise Place
Ministries Academy of Arts & Worship led
by Pastors Chuck and Jody Gafford.
The new location of the Academy of Arts & Worship is 1015 N. Flood Ave. next door to the back door of Praise Place Church.
Chuck and Jody have combined 50 years of
experience in teaching and performing music including Christian
music. The new Academy of Arts
& Worship will provide lessons, classes, choirs and workshops in
various areas of Christian arts, music, dance and worship.
